Following our ongoing success and in line with our plans for expansion we have an immediate vacancy for an experienced vehicle technician.

 

Ideally the successful candidate will hold a level 3 NVQ or equivalent in vehicle maintenance and repair together with a full UK driving licence. We would also consider an experienced level 2 with a good background in vehicle servicing, maintenance and diagnostics. We are experts in all aspects of Land Rover service, repair & diagnostics of all ages and models and full training will be available.

 

Reporting to Service Manager, Company Director - Main Responsibilities:

Working as part of the workshop team, you will be carrying out all aspects of diagnostics, electronic work, servicing and vehicle repairs.

Able to identify worn and faulty vehicle parts and components, ensuring the customer is advised of work required and consents to the work being undertaken prior to it being completed.

Work to be completed on time and to a high standard. Customer satisfaction is a top priority, and you must also ensure that targets are met.

To deal with customer enquiries both face to face and via the telephone. To generate revenue for the company, in line with Company policy.

To use the in house computer system for sales enquiries, stock control, job sheets and invoicing.

Deal with incoming deliveries of vehicle parts and general stock items and to verify the delivery and place goods and materials into appropriate storage areas.

To undertake collection and delivery of customer vehicles.

Contribute to Good Housekeeping routines and to maintain the cleanliness of the work environment and equipment on a regular basis.

Understand and adhere to the company's policies and procedures and to comply with health and safety legislative requirements and company safe working procedures at all times.

To wear and maintain the uniform provided by the company and to maintain a smart personal appearance.

In return the successful applicant will receive an excellent rate of pay dependent on experience. Plus company benefits for an average 40 hour week some Saturdays included.
